The Artists

Joe Fafard
Nationally and internationally acclaimed artist, Joe Fafard, was born to French-Canadian parents in the small agricultural community of Ste. Marthe, Saskatchwan.

Mr. Fafard is one of Canada's leading professional visual artists and has exhibitions of a wide variety of work in galleries and museums across the country and around the world, including the United States, Great Britain, France and Japan. He is widely recognized as being at the forefront of his art, and his outstanding contributions to the arts have significantly raised the profile of both Saskatchewan and Canada on the national stage.

Megan Mansbridge
Born and raised in rural Saskatchewan she is a painter, a sculptor and most importantly, a mother, and she combines these gifts to create works that are earthy, honest and that capture all the qualities of a warm home. Megan graduated from the Alberta College of Art and now lives on the Sunshine Coast of British Columbia. Megan’s creativity is charged by motherhood and the quiet beauty of nature.

Wilf Perreault
Wilf Perreault was born in Albertville, Saskatchewan in 1947. A graduate of the University of Saskatchewan (BA Honours in Art, 1970), he is one of Saskatchewan's most highly regarded visual artists. He paints scenes in and around Regina, in acrylic, watercolour and oil. His work has earned him a large and growing number of exhibitions, commissions, and awards in and outside of Saskatchewan.

Duane Murrin
Largely self-taught, Duane made a progression into landscape painting after working for many years in graphic design. Some sources of his inspiration include the spongy foliage of the Group of Seven, the French curves of Art Nouveau and its resurgence in the San Francisco poster art of the 1960's.
